Smart Education in Ireland : 100 jobs for Dublin at healthcare company

The Taoiseach has announced 100 new jobs for Dublin, the west coast and the Midlands.

Affidea - which is rebranding from Euromedic - is creating the jobs in a €15 million investment.

The diagnostic imaging provider will expand its current clinics and open new ones, adding to the 135 positions they already have here.

Among the services to be provided are MRI scans, and it will bring Gamma Knife treatment used for some head and neck cancers to Ireland for the first time.

Enda Kenny made the announcement at the company's Dundrum clinic on Thursday morning.
