University of Limerick ranked first in Ireland for overall Student Support, as voted by international students.



International students who took part in the igraduate International Student Barometer survey voted UL 1st in Ireland for a range of features under the categories of student support, arrival, living and learning.

Features of the learning environment including its multicultural nature, class size, employability and work experience were placed 1st in Ireland, while language support was voted 1st in the UK & Ireland.

Aspects of living including cost of living, campus environment and campus buildings were also ranked 1st in Ireland, while social activities were voted 1st in UK & Ireland.

International students also voted UL’s career service 1st in Ireland, as well as 17th in the global rankings.

Arrival supports such as institution orientation, and registration were also voted 1st, while overall 'application to offer' satisfaction was ranked 1st in Ireland, 3rd in Europe, and 12th in the World.

UL was ranked as the number 1 most highly recommended institution in Ireland, as well as the 9th most recommended in Europe, and 20th most recommended in the world.

The International Student Barometer (ISB) survey was conducted by i-graduate, and is the biggest survey of its kind, reaching almost 160,000 students from 82 institutions in 17 countries.
