Smart Education in Ireland :Ellucian promises 50 new Dublin jobs

Education software group Ellucian will create up to 50 new jobs over three years in Ballsbridge in Dublin.

The jobs are in technical sales, marketing, customer support and product development.

The US firm's software for students and staff in higher education includes student information, finance, recruitment and HR systems.

"There's great talent in Ireland and we are proud to make investments in job creation to help propel growth," commented Jeff Ray, Ellucian President and CEO.

The development is supported by IDA Ireland through the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
